Can I bring a pet?
Yes, pets are welcome. Please keep your pet leashed in public areas. Pets are not allowed on the beach.
Is there a sauna in Varessäikkä?
Yes, the duration of the sauna shift is 30 minutes per booked place between 5:00 and 00:30. You can also book a sauna session on site.
How late/early can I reserve a spot in the travel park?
Reservations for the current night can be made until 03:00. Remember to make a reservation for the previous day, as when booking for the current day, check-in does not start until 1:00 p.m. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance.
When and how can I still cancel my reservation?
The reservation can be canceled free of charge no later than 2 days before the start of the night. If the reservation is canceled at the latest on the day of arrival before the start of the overnight stay, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be refunded, and if the reservation is canceled later or the customer does not arrive, the payment will not be refunded. You can cancel the reservation by calling BestPark’s customer service or contacting us by email at info@bestpark.com.
Can a minor stay in the cabin?
Minors over the age of 13 and older can stay as long as they follow the area’s rules of order and general instructions.
Do I need to reserve a spot for a caravan or tent in advance?
Yes, you can book in advance, but you can also do it on the spot.
How close is Varessäikkä’s sandy beach?
Near only 30m – 100m.
Is there a restaurant in the area and is breakfast included in the accommodation price?
There is a kiosk-café in the area, where you can get something salty. It is possible to order a breakfast basket through BestPark.
Does public transport go to Varessäikkä and is it easy to get to Oulu?
Public transport connections are weak. Check the connections on Matkahuolto’s website. The best way to get to the area is by bicycle, own car, moped, motorcycle, boat, taxi or rental car. You can also ask about arranging a ride by calling +358 41 436 4889.
